Moss removal is not only important for aesthetic reasons, but for the health and longevity of your roof. Why?
Most residential roofs are composed of water shedding material, not water proof material so it doesn’t help that moss acts as a sponge and retains water quite efficiently. Moss can also lead to premature roof deterioration!

Field Leak Repair
Due to storm damage, a leak repair was performed around a shattered and leaking exhaust vent.
Good thing, too!
While removing shingles to install self adhering underlayment, several lacerations were discovered in the pre-existing felt. A new exhaust vent and shingles were installed.
Custom Composition Trough Repair
A trough that had succumbed to water intrusion resulting in rotted sheathing and leakage behind the gutter.
To fix this issue, rotten sheathing was replaced with new CDX (plywood) and new base layer self adhering materials were used for a watertight transition into the existing roof.
Composition Valley Repair
Valleys are especially susceptible to water intrusion due to a variety of reasons.
Worn and deteriorating shingles within valleys may allow for water to soak past all layers and into the home.
Fortunately, the sheathing was only water stained – no deterioration! Self-adhering underlayment, and new shingles were installed to reform this valley into a water-tight condition.
