Why Homeowners Choose Rhino Protection
Most expensive roof repairs start as small, preventable problems. Annual maintenance removes the debris that traps moisture against your shingles, keeps water flowing where it should, holds moss growth in check, and — most importantly — puts a trained technician on your roof once a year to spot trouble before it becomes a five-figure project.
A roof replacement in our area runs $15,000 to $28,000. Every year you extend the life of your current roof is a year you don’t spend that money. And while you’re extending it, you’re building credit toward the day you eventually do — $2,500 after five years, up to $5,000 over the life of your membership.
That’s the whole idea. Take care of the roof you have. Save for the roof you’ll need.
How Much Does Rhino Protection™ Cost?
Most homes fall between $49 and $149 per month. Three things determine where yours lands:
Roof size Total roof area in square feet. A larger roof takes more time to clean, treat, and inspect — and produces more debris to haul away.
Roof pitch Steeper roofs require more equipment, more safety precautions, and more time to work on. A low-slope ranch and a steep two-story are very different jobs.
Tree debris coverage A home under heavy fir or maple cover drops far more needles, leaves, and branches onto the roof each year than one on an open lot. More debris means more material to clear and more moss pressure to manage.
Homes outside the standard range Especially large roofs, especially steep roofs, and homes under exceptionally heavy tree cover are quoted individually, and the monthly rate for those homes can exceed $149. A 6,000 square foot roof under dense fir cover is a substantially bigger job than a 2,000 square foot ranch on an open lot, and the pricing reflects that. We’d rather tell you that upfront than surprise you later.
Your exact monthly rate is confirmed during your free inspection. We measure your roof, assess the conditions, and give you the number before you commit to anything. No obligation, no pressure.
How to Start Your Membership
There are two ways homeowners join Rhino Protection™, and both start the same way — with a free inspection.
After your free roof inspection Every inspection ends with a clear picture of your roof’s condition and what, if anything, it needs. If your roof is in good shape and you’d like to keep it that way, membership is the natural next step. We’ll give you your monthly rate on the spot, and you decide from there.
Alongside work you’re already having done If your inspection turns up a repair, a cleaning, or a moss treatment that needs handling, membership can be added to that project. The work gets taken care of, and your roof moves onto a maintenance schedule from that point forward — so the same problem doesn’t come back in three years.
There’s no obligation either way. The inspection is free whether you join or not, and we’ll tell you honestly if your roof doesn’t need anything yet.
What Makes Us Different
We’re not a franchise, and we don’t subcontract. Every technician working on your home is background-checked, trained, and employed by us directly. Over 22 years in Clark County and the Portland metro, we’ve built our reputation on telling homeowners the truth about what their home needs — including when the answer is “less than you were expecting.”
That’s earned us 4.9 Rating with 700+reviews and an A+ BBB rating. We’re licensed, bonded, and insured in both states (WA #NORTHRM887DL, OR CCB #196307).
Rhino Protection™ Membership Questions
How much does the Rhino Protection Membership cost?
Most homes run $49 to $149 per month. Your rate depends on your roof’s size, its pitch, and how much tree debris it collects. Especially large or steep roofs are quoted individually and can run higher. We confirm your exact rate at your free inspection, before you commit to anything.
Why would my price be above $149 a month?
Very large roofs, very steep roofs, and homes under exceptionally heavy tree cover take significantly more time, equipment, and debris removal to service properly. Rather than force those homes into a standard tier, we quote them individually.
When can I sign up?
Either after your free roof inspection, or alongside a repair or maintenance job you’re already having done. You don’t need to decide before we’ve looked at your roof.
Do I have to have work done to join?
No. If your inspection shows your roof is in good condition, you can start membership right away and keep it that way. If the inspection turns up something that needs attention, membership can be added alongside that repair or cleaning.
What is a Roof Replacement Savings Credit?
It’s a $500 credit you earn each year your membership stays active, applied toward a future full roof replacement by Northwest Roof Maintenance. Credits roll over and accumulate year after year, up to a maximum of $5,000.
Is there a limit on how much credit I can build?
Yes. Credits accumulate up to $5,000, which you reach after ten years of continuous membership.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Accrued credits stay available for six months after cancellation. If you reinstate your membership within that window, your credits come back in full. After six months, they expire.
Do you clean gutters with gutter guards?
Gutters with covers or screens are excluded from the annual cleaning. Everything else in the membership still applies
Is the annual service one visit or several?
One. Roof debris cleaning, moss treatment, and gutter cleaning are all scheduled together in a single trip.
Do I need a membership to get roof work done?
No. We handle one-off inspections, cleanings, repairs, and replacements for anyone. The membership is for homeowners who’d rather have it handled on a schedule than remember to call.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Membership is billed monthly and can be canceled at any time.
What areas do you serve?
Clark County, Southwest Washington, and the Portland metro area — including Vancouver, Battle Ground, Ridgefield, Camas, Washougal, Salmon Creek, Hazel Dell, and surrounding communities.
MEMBERSHIP DETAILS
Rhino Protection™ is a monthly subscription. Membership may begin following a roof inspection, or may be added alongside a recommended repair, cleaning, or maintenance service. Roof Replacement Savings Credits accrue at $500 per year while membership remains active and in good standing. Credits roll over and accumulate annually up to a maximum of $5,000.
Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be applied toward a qualifying full roof replacement performed by Northwest Roof Maintenance.
